West End Events win our prize draw

West End Events, a community group from London, were the lucky winners of a £500 donation for providing us with their feedback. 

We sent a feedback request to everyone who is fiscally hosted by us on the Open Collective platform and were blown away by the responses. We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who completed the survey and to those who entered the draw. We build our solutions with our clients as our focus, which is only possible if we understand the challenges being faced. 

Anita from West End Events had been running community events in her local area for years before receiving a £5000 grant from Camden Giving in October last year. The group then signed up to our fiscal hosting service and joined Open Collective to manage their funds transparently.

The events that Anita organises are a family friendly opportunity to come together with the local community and celebrate holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

West End Events were absolutely made up about winning the competition. Anita said, “with the rest of the fund from Camden Giving my next project is to organize an Easter egg hunt and picnic at Peace Park. As there are some funds left this extra prize will help to make the event even more special.”

We hope the event goes well and everyone enjoys their Easter eggs (or maybe scotch eggs for the adults?)
