Building Blocks: Peer Lab

November 26 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Free
A navy poster with white lettering saying: Building Blocks Peer Labs. 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. To the right of the text is an illustration of 2 characters working together to build a tower of blocks

To support and build on our ‘Building Blocks’ workshop series, we’ll be running a Peer Lab the week after each workshop. These labs will bring together a smaller group of changemakers, along with our experienced facilitators Mariama and Inderjit to take a deeper dive, put new skills into practice, and debrief on each subject covered. That includes:

  • Making money – finding creative and reliable ways to resource your work.
  • Social business models – what we can learn from social enterprise models while staying true to community values.
  • Team work – strengthening collaboration and team practices.

The Lab is a cohort-style learning space: the same group attends all three peer labs, creating continuity, trust, and space to share your experiences along the way. By registering, you are committing to join us for Peer Labs on:

October 29th, 12:00PM – 1PM

November 12th, 12:00PM – 1PM

November 26th, 12:00PM – 1PM

The Peer Labs have been designed to encourage further learning and practical use of the knowledge you’ve gained from attending the Building Blocks workshops. As a whole, Building Blocks is a free six week course, with 3 Workshops and 3 Peer Labs. If you attend each Wednesday, you’ll gain a holistic understanding of these foundational skills.

Please register to join us here.
