WHICH COUNTRIES DO WE SEND GRANTS / MONEY TO?
Where We Can Send Money
As a fiscal host we support grant distribution by sending grants and payments around the world for grassroots groups, movements and funders.
Before we send any money, we check who’s receiving it and what it’s for. These checks help us move funds safely and avoid delays.
One of the questions we’re asked most often is where we can send money. Our past payments give part of the answer.

Sanctions, banking restrictions and our compliance responsibilities all affect where we can make payments. We don’t set these restrictions ourselves.
The position can change. Check with us before making plans, even if the country appears on this list.
Fiscal Hosting Outside the US
We’re hearing from more trusts and foundations that want a fiscal host based outside the US.
Some fund work across several continents and need one host that can pay people in different countries. Others want their grantmaking managed closer to the groups they support and less exposed to changes in US policy.
The Social Change Nest holds the funds, carries out due diligence and makes the payments. We also give funders the reporting they need. Grassroots groups can get on with their work without setting up an organisation just to receive one grant.
