SUMMARY:Voluntary Review Panel Q&A for the Advisory Collective
DESCRIPTION:The Community Nest is recruiting for its Advisory Collective\, a group of 6-8 grassroots leaders who will help shape the future of The Community Nest. Members will feed into decisions on our programmes\, our regional outreach and our wider strategy over the next five years. \nIf you are interested in getting involved\, but perhaps can’t commit to regular input and guidance of being on the collective itself\, we’re inviting community members to support with the recruitment and co-hold suitability discussions or interviews alongside a member of the team. \nWe anticipate that recruitment volunteers will need to set aside 2.5 days for preparation and interviews. Recruitment volunteers will receive an honorarium of £250 per day for their work. For those in receipt of benefits\, this work counts as service user involvement so support will be provided for participants to accept payment without disrupting their benefits. \nWe’re especially keen to hear from people with lived experience of the issues your communities are working on\, and at least 60% of the panel will be reserved for organisers from our fiscally hosted groups. \nWe’ll be running a drop-in session on the 26th of August if you or your team would like to meet the team or hear more before applying.  \nRegister here: https://thesocialchangenest.org/webinar/recruitment-volunteer/?wspage=register
